I share this because it's quite enlightening. You Tube, the Netflix supported documentary. One hour and 18 minutes. I realize it's not about QVC but it's about a revolution of living for life and not stuff.
Highly recommend the watch. Make a mug of tea and just relax. It's not long

@katie1859 I love programs like that. We often need reminded the true meaning of life and what we should really be focusing on this short time we have here. I have more "stuff" than I'll ever need.

@katie1859 Yes, this is why I really try to think before I buy because I really have more than enough stuff...and I just bought 2 sets of 2 vases (I posted about it yesterday) yesterday! EEKk...makes me feel guilty when I really think about it but dang they are so pretty...I'm weak...
I haven't watched it yet but will.

@GingerHead I'm weak too...but I'm really gonna try to be more mindful. That's why I like these kind of reminder shows too.

We watched that as soon as I saw your rec. OP. Enjoyed it. But we learned real fast that we couldn't keep everything when we moved to a very small bungalow cottage. The garage is a little *stuffed*, but there probably isn't anything that should be tossed or even donated.
Saw David V and maybe that was Shaun K with the mouth thingy that helps your jaw/jowls?
I've never indulged with kitchen ware from Q other than a Le Cruset pot and the Vitamix, the latter I no longer have....

There is a second movie/documentary on Netflix which you have to subscribe to in order to watch. It was made in 2021 called Less Is Now. I think the 5.00 cost is worth it. The take away is this, that no matter who what or where you are the movement to minimize is present. The ultimate movement is the really create a change so the heaviness of what surrounds you is gone, removed. Most people don't realize that the presence of a lot of stuff comes with a cost, SMEP. Spiritually Mentally Emotionally and Physically and when it is allowed it literally silently takes time and energy away.
I didn't jumped into Minimalism fast. It was a reoccurring theme that came in my spirit over and over. One day I tripped on The Minimalists and it clicked. I realized why I had such an angst when I was met by clutter, from any source. I have slowly decluttered and as the year draws to a close it is such a freedom that is bigger than I imagined. It started with one decision and today, as I press forward to 24 the path is wide open. My home, my closet, my budget, really feels and look good. Clean and in line. I can't stress enough that there is nothing better to wake each day navigating in an open environment. I encourage anyone thinking of transitioning to minimalism to take the step. You will have enough and your life with reflect that freshness .
This is NOT a globalism theory of owning nothing. It IS a movement to enjoy life with purposeful surroundings. Yes, consumerism is a problem in the country and what a difference it would be to live intentionally with goods and needs
