Re: The Last Daily Positive Thread

You are the first post I read each A.M.  I do not post often----the last post was to say I lost my husband 12/22/15----I knew I would find comfort (sincere comfort) here.

I shall miss hearing about your beautiful Grandbabies.  I shall keep you in my prayers and hope you will keep us up tp date on yourself, hubby, daughters and the Twins.

May God bless you all.,

QVC, you profit from sales of Christmas and religious items, yet instructed @gloriajean to discontinue this thread because because religious articles will not be allowed.  Please respond and tell me how you reconcile this.  Sincerely, I would like an answer.

Re: The Last Daily Positive Thread

Hi Gloria, I also enjoyed your daily thread. I hope maybe you will continue to post and let us know about the sweet babies.

I had had a feeling this would happen, there were grumblings about it in other threads.

Just keep the faith, Gloria, as will the rest of us who enjoyed your thread.

What a shame this has happened.  I see so many grumpy, mean spirited posts on these boards...and this thread, though I didn't post on it, was always lovely, uplifting and supporting.  I am highly disappointed in the Q, and it will reflect in my shopping habits.

I believe it is complaints from other posters to QVC about this thread. Unfortunately.

I tried to alert QVC Social Team to this thread to ask management to reconsider, but I can't find the @ sign to use.  Could anyone do this?  Perhaps if they read the posts they would change their minds.

I'm not particularly religious, but I find this decision chilling and disturbing.  The posters on this board who direct religious posters to say NOTHING about their religion EVER are way out of line, IMO.  I really don't think this has been a problem except in the minds of some who I don't think are being reasonable with their complaints.

Two posters said it best -

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Also, the hoste SELL religious items and so do the Vendors.  I agree, take your business elsewhere.

Actually, individual letters to the CEO of QVC would probably be the most anyone can do.  Along with shopping elsewhere.

I seriously cut way back on my shopping after Pope Francis came to visit.  He came in a spirit of love and peace, not to convert anyone.  I just loved the service where all faiths were there, United as children of God.  However, there were a few voices here with extremely negative and insulting comments about my faith.  As a Catholic woman 72 years old, I hadn't heard such rhetoric since I was in high school and Kennedy was running for President.  Yes, I sent some messages to the Moderators, pointing out some false things that were being said about my faith.  Nothing happened.  despite Francis was here for a short time, all daily messages about his visit were taken off this main forum, and moved to another place where I couldn't even find them.  I do believe in tolerance - no matter what faith - or lack thereof - it is a personal decision.  I read and watch programs on TV of other faiths than mine.  How I miss watching Billy Graham.  But there always a few very intolerant people who find a way to get their way.  I am so, so done with QVC.  By the way, there is someone today asking for prayers for Charlotte police.  I guess she didn't get the memo.

Re: The Last Daily Positive Thread

Hello my friends!  I am overwhelmed with all these responses!!  I am very sorry this thread has to stop, I will come back again - with another one - titled Positive Pals and Grateful Gals!  I always liked that!  That's what we are!!

We can be positive and grateful forever!

I got that thought when I went to bed last night.

God will direct me - He gave me that idea.

God bless you!!!  I can still say that here!!!
