just alittle story tonight
tonight at church there is a family whose sons serve as alter servers every now and then .tonight the 2 kids were serving-these kids are up there in ages. one is a senior in college major is chemistry and the younger one is in high school- anyway, the college young man told me tonight-he would talk with Jerry every now and then when we attended Mass at St. Elizabeth's he was so impressed with what Jerry was saying-he had his interview with the Navy in DC this past week. He will be a commissioned an officer this summer (he will graduate from college in May/june this year.) He will work in the Nuke program on surface ships and how to iron out the kinks and invent new nuke stuff. He is anxious to get into the military. He will be commissioned in Norfolk on his ship he will assigned too and also work out of DC-this kids is not stupid in anyway. he is brilliant and such a sweet young man-he always hugs me and asks how I am doing and how everything is going for me. I hope he will be happy in his new career.

Love those pictures of Carl!đź’•đź’•đź’•
My daughters and oldest granddaughter loved those books. I still have some on the bookshelf even though they are all grown now. Just cannot bear to get rid of them!

What a beautiful tribute to your husband! How touching that this young man shared a wonderful story of how Jerry touched his life. Your beloved husband's memory lives through others that he touched. I am sure it made your heart happy to hear the difference it made in the young man's life. I hope you have happy dreams tonight.

He must have made a real impression that would influence someone to make such a huge decision so confidently.
I'm so glad he told you how much Jerry made a difference in his life. ![]()
Sounds like one impressive kid. What a way to honor Jerry.
