So... I have an olive mystery.

I'd posted that BH came home from the Italian deli with a new olive for me: The Cerignola from Puglia.

These are red.

Because they're dyed.  Explains why my fingers are also red.

I'm researching this olive and all I'm reading is how buttery, how fruity it is.  It's described as having a lemon apple flavor.

I'm getting cocktail sausage.

A very meaty, smoky olive.

It's delicious, but what am I eating here?
