Re: The Bee Hive -- December 2025 Edition

I have something to look forward to tomorrow morning.  Harney & Sons had offered a blend of Milky Oolong and Earl Grey, but I never purchased it.

Now that I'm eliminating bags and sachets and buying all loose tea, I have loose Earl Grey and Milky Oolong that I can easily mix.

I'll try it and see if I like it.

@viva923 my lightweight vac is perfect for my daily quick cleaning of our house. I think you'll be happy with yours.

We went to town to buy the items we'll need for our family's Christmas party (paper plates, cutlery, napkins). Roads were pretty clear after all the snow on Saturday night. The liquor store had Mondovi wines on sale for $3 a bottle. Admitting that should make it clear I'm no wine connoisseur! You had to buy a dozen bottles - hey, why not?

@AuntG

Mondavi wines?  I think you're thinking of the city (Mondovi) in Wisconsin. Woman LOL

There's a Mondovi in Italy, too.  Heck, there could even be a Mondovi wine, but I think it's probably Mondavi.  As in Robert Mondavi, Michael Mondavi and CK Mondavi.

I recall when my mom was waiting tables in California, Robert Mondavi wines were considered to be quite good.

Are these CK Mondavi?  Looks like all the Mondavi wines are from Napa and the wine snob I know who's giving me grief about my Costco wine thinks very highly of Napa wines.

I think it'll be perfect. Heart

P.S. Did you get a variety or all one type?

Hang on to your sweaters.

Temperatures should start plummeting here this week.  My geraniums on the patio are still alive, but that could change soon...

Re: The Bee Hive -- December 2025 Edition

BH has been watching all the Bond films post Sean Connery.

I've been reading about the "new" Bond.  There's been talk of returning to Ian Fleming's stories and finding a "young Sean Connery."

Today I see that they're considering Callum Turner for the role.

They say Fleming envisioned someone who looked like Hoagy Carmichael.

Okay.  A slight resemblance, I guess.

But a "young Sean Connery"?

My advice?

Keep looking.
