@possummink, March 25th, 2017.
I had to come back and take __a look see__ at the RAIN photo; that's what we have had for days, about a week ago, then the tempeture was very chilly cold and no one wanted to be out, then within 3 days the TEMPS were in the mid 70s, which is very strange for March, here.
Yesterday I was out much of the day (at Ulta's); that tired me out; . ...so much 'stuff' - " what I needed wasn't in stock, so I bought a serum instead. I cannot use most products due to sensitive skin, so actually I am better wearing nothing unless it's a rich oil".
So far, for several years, the Maran line in light oil is all I need, that and a swipe of eyeliner and my red lipstick...bought one of those too
( not intented ) but since I was there -why not............
TODAY: It was very warm to hot, in fact, the house thermometer said almost 77 inside and we have all of the air condtioner unit covered up -we thought until June, maybe.
Hahaaaaaaa, I had just finished up doing all of my robes for this week, yesterday and dried today. Today, I had a short slip on 36 inch length / cotton pull over and had to go to the lower level where it was cooler for 2 hours, now it's becoming colder again.
The strangest winter to spring I can remember.
"believe the winter blankets will remain on until I actually see sun longer than 3 hours, or there is no need for the furnace to come on".
Really! Men! My husband turned the main furnace fan on after a shower, then thought the (maybe) fan could have burned out), now we have no heat since he brought the circuit breakers inside, not to chance turning the air on......of course you can tell this has been a long story,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
AND! What is worse I know him well enough that the slightest wave of heat *even* for 3 hours he would have something going. I chose to remind him that 77 is not a hot summer when tomorrow will be 50, again.
I would if I could, have sent you tons of rain. Our back deck and the grounds were saturated and the more it rained the colder it became, especially the dampness or muggy mess ...good grief, and now my husband has a virus or bacterial issue in mid progress. I made his app't for Friday to see the doctor; antibiotics and he is {believe me on this} waiting to feel as usual after two days, only...again..MEN!
I have said this many times here, there is nothing more questionable {THAN} when a husband or ( I suppose any male from one's family) is home, ill or `thinks` he's just given birth to triplets...
This calls for patience with a Capital P. Also, March 25th was the day he proposed. ~~~~~~~~~~Nothing like that was floating in my mind,,,,,,,,,, thinking men do have behavioral _antsyNESS_ when on medication, a will not go out day, or not at work..I have no clue
?
This entire post rang a bell when I saw the rainy day photo. I did love my time out (briefly) shopping but the traffic is now drivers who have absolutely no clue where thay are driving with these cell phones glued to their heads, boom boxes from noise / every window of the car, and not to forget the 16 yr old to 30yr. old texting going 76 mph. Summary: inexperienced driveres or some so old,
[ 85-90+ ] that they stay at 40 on the Interstate.
Loving my Alexa ECHO and thank goodness for my paints/artwork.
Sashay loved all day and spent hours in the back under the trees.
Off to have a hot soak..(nothing like it) soothing [HOPE] to slummer.
@ Enjoyed every photo this afternoon until the end on the new spring cafe thread. Loved the story about @beastielove and the tiny 3 week old kittens. As I glanced around to several forums, I am noticing so many having pain, illnesses from the changing weather, along with many ill parents struggling for relief of muti health issues.
Much unrest and sorrow in many lives.
Hope to be here in the Sunday afternoon. My music is something I am looking forward to, that and 4 cups of some hot black coffee very early when all is... sshhh quiet.
Thank you for being here. I love your photos and the news of catching up.
Take care my dearest friend, and :
+
: for you with hugs~

Cindy, We could sure use this rain here in Florida. We had a 70% chance of rain on Thursday and got 7??
raindrops, on DDIL's windshield as she was driving home from work. None fell at the house. It's really dry now and parts of Florida are now in a drought situation.
I'm really sorry that Lewis is having to wear the cone of shame. How is is leg, though? Can he use it or is he still restricted in movement of that joint area. I hope he heals up soon, and it ready for fun and games soon. Is he staying with you or going back and forth from your home to Steve's??
Have a nice relaxing weekend. I almost forgot, is the flu problem at work a thing of the past? Hope so for everyone's sake. Stay safe!!
