Alfie wasn't left out at Christmas. He got a new red travel crate similar to this one. 
He sniffed it and walked away! 
It wasn't until I threw a bunch of treats inside that he decided to check it out. His old crate is yellow and we call it "the yellow submarine." His new crate is red and we are considering several names: Red Baron, Red Lobster, Red ? (haven't settled on a name yet). Need some suggestions. Alfie loves to go for car rides so hope we have a nice day soon so he can really check it out.
Alfie says "Woof Woof." That's Merry Christmas" in dog language.

It is very windy here today. Laying in bed, I could really hear it. Not all that cold, 50's for high today. Last night we got a few sprinkles of rain.
My husband's sister has a Christmas birthday. She feels cheated since childhood because she only received one gift!
How was your eve of Christmas dinner? I was wondering if you have made stuffed Pablano peppers before?
Last night I was hungry for Mexican food, but DH didn't finish at work until late.
I thought we would have Mexican food tonight, but we are having homemade chili.
I hope Amore received lots of gifts from Santa.

We had tacos with all the trimmings last night, and chocolate, pecan, and pumpkin pies. I made queso today with cheddar cheese, cream cheese, canned milk, ro-tel, and also coctail wiennas with bbq, brown sugar, ketchup, diced onions, and worcestershire sauce. We had leftover taco fixings also. I had planned to make a taco casserole today, but we did not need it. I have not made Pablano peppers before. There is a recipe for jalapeno stuffed peppers that I saw the other day. They looked very good. I will be glad when we get past these holidays so I can get back to my WW.
Your homemade chili sounds good. I love chili in the winter. Amore was up very late last night. He has napped most of today. He has most everything a kitty could want. This looks just like him.
