Re: THE SIDEWALK CAFE IS OPEN FOR THE FESTIVE SEASON

[ Edited ]

25 december

hello guys on this most festive day.

wow so many posts from so many wonderful  people today. So good to see so many of all our friends come for a visit.

we spent the night at dd house. The kids were so excited to get up, but requirement here is everyone must eat breakfast before opening gifts. Been like that since the oldest was 3 yrs old. (She is now 12).

DD put prime rib into the oven to begin roasting. She used sangria for a baste, the roast caught fire., DD was standing right there when the fire began, she shut off the oven, and waited till fire was out. Not long since she caught the fire immediately. She took out the ribs, drained all the sangria and put the ribs back in the oven. Doing OK now, what an unexpected event. A couple yrs ago DD was making homemade biscuits (recipe from her grandma), she didn't read the salt amount correctly. It was OH MY, where can I put this mouthful of terrible biscuits?, (the biscuits were awful, you could not eat them what so ever).

She wanted everything to be so perfect for the meal, when people began to eat the biscuits, everyone was making a face and didn't know how to reply when she asked about her master piece biscuits. When she tasted the biscuits, then she realized how bad they were. We all had a great laugh over her famous biscuits and to this day, it is a story that is always brought up when a laugh is needed.

weather is sunny but a damp cold here. We got about 1 inch of rain yesterday.

Church last night was massively filled (about 1200 people).,  Service was quite long. About 1--1/2 hours. church was so hot, I was having a hard  time staying cool.

Anika,  So glad you were able to participate in your service and use your voice to share your great talent with your church.

well guys, so glad we were able to share out love today and  wish each other joy to the world.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

Will check in later today.  Later all

@butterfly123Heart thank you, I will show this to him. His Christmas Day birthday is unique. I was born in July, and I have always liked that.

It is very windy here today. Laying in bed, I could really hear it. Not all that cold, 50's for high today. Last night we got a few sprinkles of rain. Smiley Happy
