Surgery update: Procedure went well. Got home around 5 and immediately fell asleep. To whomever suggested a rolling chair...❤️❤️❤️ ‼️‼️ PapaWick is pushing me around in our office chair, and it is so easy in the house. Getting ready to eat some and then will probably be out until the nerve block stops working.
Thank you so much for the prayers and good thoughts. They definitely worked.
PapaWick is a Rockstar.

@MamaWick , I was just thinking of you, I posted on your other thread a few mins ago! Great minds think a lot, lol! It was me with the rolling chair. Rather, my mom! Mom passed away 5 years ago at 99, and she used the "chair method" of room to room transportation for her feet. But also, she used it around th
e house to get her snacks from kitchen, lol. She raided the kitchen, put on chair, and off she went. She had all hardwood's, so ran smoothly. Later you can even use it to put your clothes for day. Her chair just glided around in house faster, and more smoothly as it wasn't so bulky. Glad it went well. I knew after chances are it would be better than you thought. Surgery is half anticipation! I am such a nervous wreck before, I am eager to get drugs just to calm down from worry. When I wake up, I am so thankful, and realize half the worry wasn't necessary...but that doesn't stop me from doing it again. lol. But all the drugs are in your system now , so it will be better for a while, until they wear off they wear off. Just take pain meds ON TIME, and take it super easy, even when you feel good. I bet the pups are keeping you company. Thanks for Papa Wick ,

@MamaWick Congrats. Glad to read that all went well. How's Miss Willow reacting to your surgery? Hope she's being a good nurse. Woofs for continued positive recovery.

Glad surgery is over. You will soon have a system in place in your home to manage the inconvenience of being non- weight bearing. Best of luck in the days ahead.
