Suggestions please - time capsule message

My niece is having a Birthday party for her daughter who will be one. She is requesting that people provide a message, poem or bible verse and/or a token for a time cap capsule to be opened on her 16th Birthday. For some reason I just cannot come up with anything. Normaly I could come up with lots.?

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Why not google to see what happend on the day she was born, and give her that?

It will tell things like pop culture , and who she shares a birthday with ,and events in history ,on her natal day

Think Cherry is on the right path. I like "headlines" and some of the ads in papers of what things cost at the present time. Even store sales sheets. It's amazing how things change in a short period of time.

Think I would go with something more personal. Perhaps pictures of the two of you at the park or zoo. Lots of memories for you and great stories for your niece.

Someday, when scientists discover the center of the Universe....some people will be disappointed it is not them.

you could purchase your local newspaper on the day she turns one and include it in the time capsule.
