@foxywoods

I can understand why you would think so and I suppose it could be if you let it.  I love my stinkin' Lincoln (DH named it "stinkin") and nothing anyone can say will change my mind.  Many of you are commenting on something you aren't informed/aware of.

ps...for those who remember it was wrecked in the first week, I was pulled over on the grass, sitting still, when a distracted driver hit me.  She was distracted by her children (who warned her to "get over") and was on her phone).

@CrazyKittyLvr2

I hate that disembodied voice telling me to put on my seatbelt.

My stinkin' Lincoln is more refined than that.  It just plays a pleasant chime.

If you dash looked like this, you'd look at more.  And the dash is customizable.  It's all very intuitive @Desertdi  Everyone that has driven it says it's easy to view and not distracting.  See that little shiny black rectangle towards the back of the steering wheel?  That is what watches your eyes to make sure they are on the road.  Glance at something for too long and you'll get a warning to watch the road.

No, you're not a fossil.  I was sitting next to the helicopter pilot as we skimmed the sides of the Grand Canyon and maybe 15ft above the Colorado River.  It was GREAT!  My dad has a thing about helicopter pilots.  He thinks they're all crazy!  I thought he would faint when I was telling him about our helicopter experience at the GC.  The plane ride out there was average, but the boat ride down the river was exciting.

@monicakm   I was so, SOO lucky to have been able to accompany that pilot, while we small planed thru the Grand Canyon!   Woman Very Happy     On disembarking that adventure, I was seriously ready to double up, strapped to a Professional, & jump, Sky Dive next, alas, but not enough time.

And I wanted to fly? or, rent a car, & drive to see Rev Dr Robt Schuller's  "Crystal Cathdral" in Calif, (& that Complex) also, but, again, not enough time.  My Coworkers were then shocked!    "Don't you understand that danger!!!" (Candidly, I hadnt fully checked it out, yet)  That very weekend, a couple tried that same LV to CA car venture.  But their car broke down, en route, near nothing!  And even shading themselves under their car, didnt save their lives.   wow!  WOW!!  How sooo fortunate I was, have been & still am!!!    whew!!   Woman Very Happy

Seems, shortly after my ride thru GC, I heard it was made illegal to ride thru GC any more, (vs above?)     Woman Surprised

     All, another & yet addt'l, "very lucky, & fortunate for me"  life of on, or, not events.   And I remain so, sooo appreciative for all these!    Woman Very Happy
