I am thinking of purchasing a steam cleaner....floor and counter top model.  It is on the southern channes.....Do these work as well as they claim they do?  The review are pretty good.

I would like to use it on my wall to wall carepts to 'refresh' them and currently I clean tile floors on my knees but it would be nice to clean standing up on occasion, ha!

The price today is pretty good, but this is last day for the discounted price...I would appreciate any advice, commments.

@willomenia....that is the exact one I am looking at....I was hoping someone had something good to say about it.  Years ago I purchased a Hahn from QVC but  it was defective.....so back it went.  I recall the few times I was able to use it, the nap of the carpet looked very nice.

I tried a few and the only one I kept and repurchase was the Haan.  It is the only one I have found that keeps the steam even.  Others left too much water when the temp dipped.

My steam cleaner is a hoover, i clean my tile floors with it, it is the second steam cleaner i have had, i just love it.
