@Sassy7356 , thank you for this Snow Much Fun thread. Smiley Happy I know it will bring lots of enjoyment to many people.

Everyone, we have continued to enjoy sunshine, and nice temps. That however, is about to change. After tomorrow, a winter storm is heading here plunging our temps to frigid, and Snow chances. We rarely see snow anymore. Our new heater will get a work out.

My DH is having some health problems, and has AFIB. He is now taking Elequis ,which makes us nervous. My mom took that drug when she was battling cancer.

@mousiegirl, I have thought about you every day, and am so glad you had an enjoyable holiday with your daughter. Smiley Happy sounds like some excellent food too.

@Sweet Caroline 1 , I hope your nephew will be on the mend quickly. Him, and your sister are on my prayer list.

Everyone,  have a good safe weekend.

@Tissyanne Sorry to hear about your husband and A-Fib.  We had a friend that was treated with Eloquis for about 10 years for A-Fib and he had no history of blood clots.  He just had an ablation which was a success but was told that it is most effective if one is performed within one year of being diagnosed with A-Fib.  I wish your dh the best of health.

We're in the middle of a winter storm. Accidents all over and interstate closed due to a bad one. I'm waiting for Sarah to get home from work, they closed early. I just took Bijou outside and this was the first time with significant snow....he was all hoppy and wild in it (I had him on a leash in the front yard as the steps were too icy in the back). I think the winter storm is hitting everywhere. Stay safe and warm everyone.

Fortunately MN is escaping this monster of a storm.  We are only experiencing very cold temps.  Take care everyone in its path.

@mousiegirl , I told him about the Fleciniade, and he will.ask.about it. He is suppose to see another DR that the cardiologist referred him to. It is about the ablation, but he won't do that unless it is a last resort

@Sassy7356 , didn't you have ablation? I was just thinking that you did. Did it help you?

Enjoy your weekend. Stay safe and warm.

@Tissyanne Yes, I had an ablation and like I mentioned beforehand I had it done within a year of being diagnosed with A-Fib.  It was a success and I don't regret having it done.  I do have a history of blood clots and am on coumadin.  Eloquis is an option for me but I just haven't switched over due to some side effects that I don't have on the coumadin.  A-Fib is the reason we sold our previous home and bought a one-level without any stairs or steps.  It was a huge life-saver for me to have the procedure.  The cardioversion that they performed on me twice was not a success and why we did the ablation.
