Nice Morning.  I thought I'd just hang out with a few chores but in turning on the news, I learned of the tragic shooting over in MN.  It's a good thing I am not in charge.  Never an excuse or reason to murder children.  I live in CA and this incident has colored my day.

Today I went very early to Trader Joe's hoping the pumpkin items were in stock. Not quite yet. 🎃
Still my favorite store - happy employees and plenty of organic items too.

Just another day here at home thus far.  

I may bake a cherry cobbler for a neighbor.  I'm reconciling my bills.  Kind of like robbing Peter to pay Paul.  

Is anyone doing anything special or fun for the Labor Day Holiday?

Thank you, viva, Cakers and Puzzle Piece for posting yesterday.  Today is our 61 Wedding Anniversary, I remember our Wedding day well, it rained that day. It may rain here today too. At first we thought we'd go out to eat tonight but then my daughter offered to make supper for us and invite our other daughter and family so that's much better!! The twin grandchildren are nine years old already and going into third grade.

Cooler temps and definitely starting to feel like fall in the mornings. I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend. Will attend church service Saturday evening, then on Sunday I am invited to my neighbors for a cookout. On Labor Day I will stay at home and do my fall decorating.

Today is a beautiful day...I went to the grocery early came home watered a few pots and. watered at my neighbors house where I transplanted some ground cover for her.

I trimmed back a few things but did not want to do to much as I was not dressed for working in the yard.  When I work in the yard I get filthy....so that was not going to happen today!

I came in the  house and started to put summer decor away, cleaned as I went and got out the fall things.  I don't do a lot but a few touches in each room downstairs...I like the change in decor...next change up will be after Thanksgiving.

Normally I work on Friday so I worked Thursday so I could have a long weekend, but guessing I will be ready to go back into the office on Tuesday.

I hope everyone has a good holiday and sending good thoughts and prayers to those that have health conditions or other issues...take care.

I thought I'd have a quiet day but no, not possible.  

I had the care giver come by for three hours, a neighbor came by to check on me and chat, a bank won't honor my check bbecause I signed under the signature line with my first initial.   Mail had more bills.  Guess I'm just ranting and I shouldn't because all in all it's a nice day.  Good weather and no crime.  

I have to think about what I want to make for the Labor Day meal.
