Good morning everyone! Thanks so much for your responses here sharing your day, and Teddy, thank you much for your prayers for my daughter. She goes for her second chemo on Friday. She is cancer free, but these sessions are that no cancer returns. She has to go 9 months of this once every 3 weeks.

I hope she doesn't get sick this time like last time.

Today is bread baking day.  I have a bread machine that I only use for kneading, and I do the rest. I have a bread cookbook with many good recipes I love to make.   Have a good day!

@gloriajean ---well, I certainly hope for the best too----these blasted treatments are relentless tho---but at least she knows what to expect. Any day baking bread is a good day---I love my bread machine. I just got thru vacuuming, am running dishwasher now, going to the local farm later and am thinking of trying a new recipe--curried chickpeas--has other lovely things added to make a stew--looks so good in the photo--here's hoping it turns out!!!

Well I think I should share. After a recent hospitalization I was shocked to learn I’m in heart failure exasperated by COPD. It’s been tough, it’s life changing and mentally very difficult to comprehend. It’s been almost 2 weeks and mentally I’m more accepting now, but still as a single person it’s scary. God bless us all

wagirl - yes, bread machines are wonderful, if just to do the kneading! Your curried chickpeas recipe sounds good. I'm sure it turned out.

Well my day started pretty terrible.  Got my Blue cross Blue Shield statement.... $20,000 of fraudulent charges on my husband's account.  Medicare had paid out thousands to this fraud. Spent over an hour on phone with BC BS then Medicare. Both were very nice to deal with. Disgusting fraudsters.

On the good side..butterflies on my butterfly bushes and hummingbirds on my feeders.  We'll be ok.

Hope everyone is doing well.

@Mustang Shar That must have been very unsettling news for you.  I hope you can stay strong know people care.  Words sound so trite, but are meant.  Bless you.
