I don't see that @Shanus has posted yet.  I suspect that she is very busy with the rummage sale as she is preparing to get their house ready for sale.  Thinking of her & wishing her smooth sailing in the coming weeks ahead!

So happy to report that DH's cataract surgeries are now done.  He had no discomfort at all & is seeing very well.  One eye is now at 20/30 & the other at 20/20.  Will just use "cheaters" for reading.  

Enjoy a nice weekend ahead.

@MOMMAVik  good to hear that your hubby's cataract surgery went well!  I'm getting one eye done in June and the other one in July.  I have so much fear and anxiety about it. I'm a nervous hoolalia, or however it's spelled 😄

Please believe me, you will be fine. DH had been nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof! He had one eye done on the 20th and the second eye just this week on the 27th. They took the patch off the day after each surgery. Each surgery took about 20 minutes. After an hour in the recovery room we were on our way home!

The surgeon is fabulous. He did mine 25 years ago! Mine were really advancing & he said it would be best to do them for an easy recovery. He was right!

@MOMMAVik   Thank you so much for starting off the thread yesterday. It was wonderful to see that you were so thoughtful. I don't think I ever missed a day.

Shabbat Shalom on the last day of May.

Yesterday morning folks started coming to the garage/yard sale more than 2 hours earlier than the time on the signs stated. They were lining the streets at 6:30. Today and tomorrow, no one's coming in until 8:30!! It's not fair to the ones who came on time.

We had a soaking afternoon rain and needed to move things off the front porch and into the garge, but lots of sales and "restocked" the garage twice. The rain stopped no one.

Hope everyone has a great weekend...it is very stormy here today but should improve tomorrow and then the temps rise next week.

Some seem to need readers after cataract surgery and some not. My hubby didn't need them.
