@Bird mama   My Wolfgang Puck kettle is going strong, in spite of my negligence in letting it go dry, entire bottom was black, but used the clay cleaner and it looks so much better, fortunately, it didn't burn inside.

The wood handle makes sense.  My handle gets too hot so have to use something to lift it.

It's a fake wood @mousiegirl   I haven't used it yet however I think it will stay cool.

My day started out well.  I had my periodic teeth cleaning at the dentist and all is well.  No need to see her for 6 months.

The plumber who prices by job came and went in 30 minutes.  $200 to shut the gas off at the meter, replace a short piece of pipe that leads to the ain gas supply to the cooktop and replace the shut off valve.

This is why I am a do it yourselfer.

I'm trying to talk myself into getting into the garage to go thru my fall decor and get the house decorated.  It's such a beautiful day and I feel pretty good, so no excuses.

I have a new book to start on, but I know I can't read that until I get into that garage

I found my fall outdoor flags put my large one up.

we have had a very hot humid day, did have a rain shower roll thru a few minutes ago. It was a quick mover. Suppose to be cooler tomorrow.

have my reheat dinner in toaster oven reheating for my meal tonight.

not much else going on, did my 2 walks,

did get my hair cut today.
