Re: Self Care: What's Everyone Up To?

@JeanLouiseFinch

Your flowers sound lovely!!  I have a little garden going, too.  Looking forward to some tomatoes later this summer.

Wow.  You had a big weight loss.  Good for you!!  I think that is GREAT!  I know it's cliche, but health and wellness is a jouney.  It takes a long time and commitment to incoporate real changes into your lifestyle.  So they stick!!

I've also streamlined my skin care.  And my skin is looking great!!  I feel like I am finally finding my way to what works for me. Which is like the most amazing thing.  It's like -- look at me, knowing and doing what's best for me.  :-)

  I hope your sinuses stay healthy.  Do you have to use a yeti pot?

My DIL & gd during the pandemic started me on them.

DIL lost during pandemic (not me☹️☹️😉😉) 37 lbs and swears it was walking "in the house" with Leslie walking hours.  Of course, she watched her carb intake and looks fantastic 🙂🙂

Thank you so much for the reccomendation.  That kind of documentary is right up my alley.  I have watched a few others on netflex. Game Changers, Fed Up and Forks Over Knives.  Very interesting sttuff.  I will definitely check it out.

Good for you and your hubs.  I agree with you -- health is the new wealth.

Thanks @justashopper.  No, I’m not using a neti pot.  I use a NeilMed bottle. I add distilled water, warm it up in the microwave, mix in a saline packet and a prescription compounded steroid.

Re: Self Care: What's Everyone Up To?

Changes:

1)  Much more attentive hand washing than pre-pandemic.

2)  Since I gained a few pounds because I wasn't able to go to supermarkets for a while and certainly because of being mostly indoors and less active during the pandemic, I went gluten-free and dairy-free a few weeks ago and am realizing the benefits.

Wear a mask. Social distance. Be part of the solution - not part of the problem.

@Deree Love that!  Part of the solution, not the problem!!  Fits so many areas of life.
