I'm almost finished my closet switch.

My Fall/Winter wardrobe is looking good. I bought a bunch of things at the end-of-season sales last Winter.

I stocked up on turtleneck shirts and over the summer made a bunch of sweaters and vests, winter scarves and hats .... I'm all set.

(Well .... maybe some new shoes / boots.)

Still a little early for the total closet switch here in Chicago.  I expect to be filling at least a bag--maybe 2--with donations as I sort through my fall/winter stuff.

Congratulations. I reorganized everything I own including my clothes over the Labor Day weekend. It's a nice feeling when you're done.

Your all way more energetic and organized than I am!  I have never done a closet switch out.

I put upstairs or donated 10 items a day last week and have come a long way.  The white pants and sleeveless things are put away, but it is still warm here, so I'll do it again in a couple weeks.

I won't have to bring down many cold weather things for some time.

@Sooner Thats a good idea I need to do that I have so much stuff I don't wear anymore.

@spumoni99 First time I have tried that technique and I have to say it worked great!  Ten is a good number because you can see progress but it's easy to do 10.  And you can think you can stick it out for a week (5-day work week! Woman Wink) and then go back later.  Good luck!!!!!!!

Everything I own for all 4 seasons is in my small bedroom closet and a couple dressers. No switching necessary. I used to have a lot more clothes, and I remember lugging plastic bins up and down the stairs each Spring and Fall. Now everything is in one place.

Can't wait to wear some fall clothes. Love jeans, sweaters, and boots. 🍁

We have 2 cruises lined up so I won't be doing a huge closet switch for a while.  Since I live in the south, it's not a big deal.  I think I have a couple os sweatshirts but mostly winter stuff is long sleeved shirts.

I've been trying to decide what to wear to an event coming up next week.  I said to DH the other day, how we went from extremely hot and humid weather to autumn overnight, and he can put our grandkid's blowup pool away.  I was kind of hoping to get away with something pastel for the event but I can't do it.   Today's high is only 67*, though we can still get Indian summer.  I'll be switching my clothes around this weekend.
