   &   Everyone: My best friend from high school who I see several times a year had bad news yesterday. Her dermatologist found melanoma on her back. She's going into surgery Wednesday to have more removed and her lymph nodes checked. 
    We used to live a street apart in they same model house. Our names are the same. Even dated the same boy once. We were in each other's weddings. I'm a brunette (still) and she's a beautiful blonde.
    Since our vaccines we've been planning lunch outside. We will postpone it awhile and hope for the best. 
     I saw your post  and thought of her.

@1Snickers   I just read about your friend with melanoma on her back.  I will pray for the best outcome.  

I had two malignant melanomas and after years of full body scans and lung x-rays I was clean and have been since the 1990s.

Please keep us posted.
