I have never been hung up on numbers, my two close friends know never to ask me how old someone is other than myself, it something I never remember. They even laugh at me about it as those numbers tell them a lot.

I am so sorry that you do not have your Charlie to create new memories with but how wonderful the times you had with him sound.

I have two bad knees, I suppose they are just worn out, I am finally seeing an orthopedic dr. On the 22nd. I can swim all afternoon but I need  to hang onto someone’s shoulder when trying to walk out of the water, the kids always help when they are here and take care of all the water toys. 

I am am so blessed for my little lake and I can just sit all day and look at the water although it is not majestic like the oceans! I have had loss in my life too as everyone does but I think as we get older if we can appreciate everything around us our lives can still be very full and rewarding. I did read how much flooding the Mississippi was doing, we had flooding in Nebraska too.

These two nieces in the picture could not make it today as they were on their way home from a family trip.
