Has anyone received an email from SSA regarding your new SSA statement is available to view for the upcoming year?

@catter70   I received an email on 10/24 telling me that the increase would be 2.8% in January and can see the amount in my SSA account. I received the increase this month. No! Wait...! I can't see the amount for next year.

I also received a one time payment with no explanation last month. Maybe they were underpaying me...? Yes! That is it! The amount I received this month is NOT a 2.8% increase. They must have been underpaying me, & that is why the one time payment and the new amount starting this month.

I still work full time. Are they going to have to do this every year to match my income?

Thank you for this thread! It made me look! lol

I just started collecting in Oct.

They have changed the SSI payout twice, changed my Medicare twice, sent me a refund (bank deposit) yesterday (Mon) for Medicare (guessing).

Rec'd a letter yesterday that I'll be receiving a couple of dollars less in Nov, but then much more in December for SSI (I guess).  I'm so confused at this point.

ETA:  Will be receiving a lot less for Nov and Dec.  A little bit of a hike after that (2026?).

Whatever!!!

@catter70  Yes, I have.  I already calculated my new monthly amount, including deducting the $206. charge for Medicare.

I received an email saying I could see my 2026 amount online soon. I don't expect much and whatever it is will go toward the higher Medicare fee.

I got an email but instead of using the link in the email I went to the SSA website - nothing available yet regarding the increase.
