How awesome and inspiring you are! If I ever fear the unknown, I will be thinking of you and your courage to follow your dreams at any age. Moving to another state is one thing, to another Country is a cultural change as well. I have never been, but would love to travel overseas myself. How exciting and liberating to unload things you don't need at the same time.

Thank you!

Often as I unload "stuff" I sit and cry, many were things my sister loved and owned. She used to tell me-if we didn't make it-get rid of it!

I do have special Christmas decorations she found 30-50 years ago, I'll keep many of those.

I hope so too. The first few months I'll be in survival mode, there will be more to do there that I can't put off.

Thank you.

@Alsace Gal,

I can tell you take such good care and love for ReilleySmiley Happy

I have always looked forward to your posts and I wanted to tell you again how very sorry I am about your sister, your twin. I can't imagine how it must be, like losing part of yourself.

I can see you carry her in your heart. I hope you feel her going on this new life together-her in spirit with you and in your heart.HeartHeart

@''Thank you.

Organized? I move from one thing to another. Rest for an hour and start again.

I remember your posts about France and Grenoble.

My Reilley is still with me, once he's gone I'll take in Senior pup who may be needing  a loving home for his or her last days.

@Alsace Gal  Wishing you and your baby a happy and rejuvinating move.  I hope you make a few good friends there.   You only need a few.   Be happy,  embrace your new home,   and let us know how you are doing.

I moved to Hong Kong in the 80s when I was 27.  People thought I was crazy,  but it was fabulous.  I had experiences that I never would have known by reading or films.  It turned out we were only there a few years,  but it was wonderful.

I wish you a smooth transition.  There may be some bumps in the road,  but keep moving forward as best you can.  Sending hugs.
