Among Friends

Some of you may remember that I'm moving out of the country.

My house will close escrow on Friday.

The buyers have agreed to rent it to me for 90 days. I may move out sooner.

My Reilley has his suitcase packed, he's better prepared than I am.🐶

My friend and relocation company in Strasbourg are looking for an apartment for me and Bossman ( My Reilley ) .

It's been stressful. I've done everything myself without help, ridding myself of "stuff". 

I'll be glad not to have yard work anymore. Next week I'll give all my beautiful potted plants away, my neighbor will take them, she rents and has a fairly large partially  enclosed patio.  I have beautiful hydrangeas, mandevile )S) and many more.

It's scary to do a large move-overseas for this 74 geriatric! 
I'm not taking much.

Some of you may remember Our Angus (dog) who passed away three weeks before  my dear twin. Angus is going with us as is my dear twin and our dear mom, she's been gone for 20 years.

I already have a place for them in France and when the time is right I'll be with them again.

 I have no family and friends anymore and consider all of you my family even though we've never met.

I want all of you to know I read the forums and cry when you all lose those you love and especially all the loved fur babies who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and left so many of you devasted.

Haha, got to hand wash the floors, final walk through is tomorrow morning.

@Alsace Gal  I admire you. I wish u peace, happiness and health in ur new home. I also have very little family left. My pets are my company and when I lose one I am so heartbroken. The fact that u have done everything to get ready for this big move on ur own tells me you r strong and special. Best of luck.

@Alsace Gal  - wow you are definitely a force to be reckoned with! Cleaning out and selling your home and planning an overseas move all on your own is monumental.  You are definitely an inspiration to those of us who are looking for our next chapter and doing it on our own.

I've made a few friends during our travels there, it's still a bit different when living there.

My neighbor across the street thinks I'm crazy, but she has never left this county.

I'm not leaving for 2-3 months, I'll be in the forums.
