You are right about most them not doing so well. I ran into some so called pretty girls that I went to school with years ago and they did not age well. I just wondered what the hoopla was about them when they were in school.

@Puzzle Piece --interesting post of yours. Have a little story about that subject. Was involved with a small group of the "it" girls in high school--we were sophomores and the main girl had 2 older brothers that of course, had all their friends around --all knew her from those brothers. Everyone gathered at her house in a ritzy part of the town because her mom was very open to having the friends show up there instead of running around town getting in trouble. Was fun for awhile but my "friend" was pretty mean all in all and she ended up turning on me near the junior year. I moved on before she did me any damage and found a more reasonable bunch of friends. Now---on to just about 3 years ago--was my 50th school reunion--didn't know about it so didn't go, but I did join a graduate online thing and actually found this one girl after all these years and OMG---we started to talk online and you know---she did end up being a very sad case----and I mean a horrible sad case. Guess her oldest brother was abusing her back in those days, her mom was alcoholic and died in her 50's and her little sis had a baby that she gave to this girl to raise as the sis was mentally unstable. And then she is suffering from some pretty awful health issues and isn't able to do much anymore. So needless to say----I was shocked and very sad about all her past troubles. That is alot for anyone to go thru. I never really wished her anything bad--I never held anything against her and am very sorry for all she had to go thru.I cancelled that grad online thing----so haven't heard from her at all.
