Re: *****SHABBAT SHALOM OCTOBER 11TH******

It is a glorious sunny day here.  I am heartbroken to see the devastation left behind of the two hurricanes and several tornados in just a matter of two weeks.  Praying for those who need help in putting their lives back together and for those who have lost dear ones.

Wishing you all a peaceful and meaningful Shabbat and Yom Kippur.  I fondly remember walking to & from synagogue with my parents, sister & brother, often skipping through piles of leaves!  May those who are fasting enjoy a sumptuous Break the Fast!

Re: *****SHABBAT SHALOM OCTOBER 11TH******

Good morning,

Shabbat Shalom. For those fasting, may it be an easy one. I hope you enjoy your meal after the fast. May you be safe, if you choose to go to your Temple.

@Shanus  thank you for this week's thread.  Smiley Happy

My prayers are with all those who are dealing with the aftermath of the hurricanes. I heard from our friends in the Tampa area.   Both left the area and were safe.  Their homes were spared a lot of damage, but they still have repairs to deal with.  It could have been worse. That is what I try to focus on when I feel anxious.

I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend.  Today, the weather in central NY is a beautiful fall day.  We'll begin the steps to get outside ready for winter.

Today is National Gumbo Day. Enjoy!  Mangia!
