*****SHABBAT SHALOM MARCH 6TH*****

[ Edited ]

Shabbat Shalom and Happy Friday. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us here and share your thoughts. We'd love to have you.

Well, summer jumped into our part of NC with temps in the 80's and next week 3-4 days of rain/storms are predicted. Of course they really don't know for sure and it always changes.

I went to a candle making class here yesterday. It was fun learning to melt the wax, keep the wick from moving off center and adding fragrance. Lavender for mine. I met some nice women and one guy came, but we made him feel welcome. I go to pick mine up this morning.

I'm going to the Farmer's Market early tomorrow morning. It's a great way to find fresh veggies, baked goods, jellies and jams and support our local farmers.

Wishing everyone a wonderful and restful weekend. OH, CLOCKS CHANGE THIS WEEKEND, Ugggg!

Re: *****SHABBAT SHALOM MARCH 6TH*****

Hello All.  The best of Fridays to everyone and a wonderful weekend too.

Shanus, going to a Farmers Market sounds like fun.

No plans for this weekend.  I'm still mourning the loss of my boy cat.  I am also parting company with my care giver soon.  She's been toxic for me and I will not be sad to see her go.  I am also parting company with a certain acquaintance.  He's had enough time to becaome a companion but he's failed on every occasion.

I am hopeful that the war will come to an end soon and that event will never happen again.

Blessings to all.

My cat's ashes arrived yesterday.  He is home with me now.  His ashes will be scattered along with mine someday as I think he would appreciate that.

@Puzzle Piece   Definitely a loss, but having your kitty home with you must be a comfort.

All my beagles were cremated and returned by the vet in a small wooden box with a doggie foot print engraved on the top. I labeled each one and they're in a box in my closet. When we moved, I carried that box myself...very dear to me.
