Re: SHABBAT SHALOM DECEMBER 6TH

Shabbat Shalom and Happy Weekend!

Very cold here but a warmer weekend is promised.  No plans for us but that is ok.

Praying for healing for our world.  Our future generations need hope.

Re: SHABBAT SHALOM DECEMBER 6TH

@Shanus Thanks for the info.  I like the bread it is very tasty.  No wine as I don't drink.

As I was raised with electricity and driving a car daily.  I could not ever do what others do not do on the Sabbath day.  Take care.

@Puzzle Piece   Most Jewish people are not that religious to follow those Sabbath regulations. I was just providing general info.

I don't know what Shabbat means or Shabos but if it's good greetings of sort, I'm all for it.

Vision is such a gift and a blessing, you will enjoy yours.

Shabbat is Hebrew for Sabbath and Shabbos is the Yiddish translation. Our Sabbath starts at sundown on Friday evenings and lasts until sundown on Saturday. Just like in Christianity, there are different denominations with differing levels and practices of observance. Candles and prayer at the beginning and end of the Sabbath are traditional. Shabbat Shalom is wishing someone a peaceful Sabbath. Always a good thing.
