*****SHABBAT SHALOM APRIL 25TH*****

Shabbat Shalom and Happy Friday. Everyone is invited to join in here before the weekend begins to share their thoughts.

The packing continues. Tomorrow to the BIG mall since they have 50% on sheets and linens, towels, etc. we also are looking for sofas...the two we have made it (barely) through 3 beagles and have a lot of wear on them. We also need a rug for the living room area and one for the "primary bedroom". I didn't know it isn't called the master bedroom anymore.

.....then dinner with my DS, DIL and the GDs. What a fun day!!!

I hope ya'll find a way to relieve your cluttered minds and chaos. I know it's difficult for us. Relax and have a wonderful weekend.

Shanus Heart

Re: *****SHABBAT SHALOM APRIL 25TH*****

Good morning everyone.  Have a very happy and safe weekend.

@Shanus  Your photo is gorgeous.   If the rest of the house is similar,  I'm sure you'll love it there.  So happy you found something you can make into a home.   FYI,  I still call it the Master.

Re: *****SHABBAT SHALOM APRIL 25TH*****

@nyc1   Thanks. I couldn't photograph it too well since the sun was strong that day. The windows line the entire great room which has the dining room that didn't make it into the photo. They are tinted to keep the sun out and also for privacy. Shades come down on all in the apartment with a remote. It's quite updated and contempory wwhich the opposite of the traditional/counrty French style I have here.

In front of the balcony area may be my studio. The two bedrooms are on either side of that area. Both bathrooms have double sinks and I have a tub and shower and the other bedroom has double sinks, too and a soaking tub and shower. DH and I may share the 2nd room as his study and my studio area, but that will be HIS bathroom Smiley Happy!

@Shanus   Simply GORGEOUS.   I'm a modern girl,  so I could live there in a heartbeat.  I'd need another bedroom,  but stylewise...  Magnificent.   ENJOY every moment.

@nyc1   We looked at a 3 bedroom one, but the 3rd was really tiny and made the other rooms smaller. So we decided on the one with 2 larger bedrooms.

@Shanus

Your new place looks gorgeous!  I love the big windows looking out to trees!  And your new place sounds wonderful.

Good luck with your shopping.  In our house, our kitty is gated off from our LR.  A must-be for that room, decorated long before him.

Our FR is where we live anyway.  Our leather sofa there is like new!  Our precious leather sofa got worn out before we replaced it.  Very practical and pet-friendly.  Just a thought.

DH also has a leather recliner in study upstairs (with all his stuff, including a large screen tv) also looks like new, even kitty spends much time in there with him.

Just a thought!

@Shelbelle   Thank you. There's a walk in pantry that I couldn't get in the photo. It'll be the first time in 57 yrs. I won't have a gas stove. The cooktop is a flat glass deal. I'll have to get used to it.

@PamfromCT  There's no place to gate off Molly since it's one huge room, but at 12 she's too tired to do any damage. We have to take her down the elevator 3 floors, but many people have pee pads on the balcony for "emergencies". I can put a gate on DH's study and let her leave "surprises" for him. Lol
