Even with lockdown, we're permitted essential outings to get groceries and meds. Now masks or scarves over face are suggested while around anyone in those situations away from your home.

Shauna - agree totally with your statements. As long as we all understand what essential means, this will save lives. We aren't prisoners but we are expected to care about the lives of others. There's too many people who don't think rules apply to them. There's always the oppositional defiant people who will do their own thing and those with clinched fists who claim the government is taking their rights away. Whatever. Let's all just do the right thing and take care of one another. Healthcare friends tell me people who aren't personally affected by this virus can't imagine what we're dealing with.

@jeanlake  By the way, my name is Shanus. ITA with what you're saying. Unfortunately, not everyone cares about another's health. People have gone to grocery stores to work showing symptoms, continued to mingle in parks, etc. It's the same like when we were in elementary school. When the teacher can not pinpoint which child is causing the conflict, everyone has to close their books and put their heads down on their desks.
