I have a Q Card and use it only when QVC has a promotion or coupon code when you use it.  Otherwise, I use my Mastercard to get the cashback. Most of time, I do my best to pay the entire amount when the bill is due so I rarely pay any interest.

@Luvsmyfam  You couldn't pay me to have a Q card with their ridiculous interest rate. I'll stick to the one I have, which is a great one. I've read so many complaints about S bank -- no thanks.

@Love my grandkids  -  I've had zero problems with my Q card and Synchrony Bank.   I've never paid a dime of interest either.

@Luvsmyfam I still wouldn't have one. Terrible interest rate. My Visa is much better than what I've read about the Q card rate.

It is Synchrony Bank's ridiculous interest rate which is NO different than hundreds of other credit cards out there.

If I Don't buy what I can't afford, then the interest rate is of no issue.  QVC doesn't sell life sustaining items.

Synchrony handles Q, HSN, Lowes, & Amazon.

I have and use them all and have never had an issue.

I like that w/ the Q card I get 5 EZ pays on everything all the time.  I also get promos that require using the Q card.

Hi @Luvsmyfam   Other than the "constructive" advice you rec'd here, all I suggest is, if u fear you'll lose the availability of the item you wish while your QCard arrives, QVC used to hold items if u purchased on a "check waiting" status.  And when you get yr Qcard, just call Customer Svc and convert pay't over to yr new QCard.

     But admittedly, holding a purchased item on "awaiting check status" is "old tyme" QVC.  But, maybe worth a try?

    GOOD LUCK!  Sounds maddening!  Woman Frustrated

@JoyFilled Warrior

The whole check waiting thing was total nonsense and should never have started in the first place.  Perhaps it started back when married women couldn't get a credit card without their husband's approval?

It was unfair to customers who really wanted to purchase an item, not think about it for a week before sending QVC a check?  Ridiculous.

JMO, of course.

I'm not understanding why someone can't make purchases solely because they don't have a Q card.

That makes no sense to me whatsoever.

No, it doesn't make sense.
