I can identify with your comments.    After Ed received his Jazzy wheelchair we purchased a transport carrier.  When we tried to get the Honda SUV in the garage we were about 10" too short with the carrier in place and that meant we could not close the garage door.  We had to move two large shelving units from the back wall to the side wall and relocate some other storage equipment.  What a job ... so while doing that we did a fall cleaning of the garage; thank goodness that's done with a few minor changes. 

The apple orchard is fun.  Fortunately we have vendors come every week to the farmer's market close to us.  So we'll get apples in the next week or two.  I can't wait for McIntosh and Cortland.  Hope to make some apple butter this year too.  Neighbors are waiting ...

When I see cardinals I always think of my brother, Nelson.  His birthday was September 22.  I still grieve his loss; we were so close.  Always missed, always cherished.

There are three fawns in a wooded area close to where we live.  Sometimes we see them in the open field as we drive to CVS.
