@mousiegirl Did you see Valerie's fruit picks on sale for Christmas in July? I recall you have them amd maybe need more. I have the old ones that are better colors for my living room but was tempted.

@1Snickers Thank you! I just bought one set. I tried throughout the months to get another, but they weren't offered. I told myself that I could live without them, but am glad to have more. I stick some in the two tiered sugared fruit trays on the end of the kitchen island, different for every season.

I was watching some news about qualifying for the Olympics this morning. I'm really looking forward to the summer Olympics in Paris. I was just thinking about the commitment these athletes make with their workouts, practice and even the food they eat. Twenty four hours a day of preparing. I want to see as much of it as I can.

@Sweet Caroline 1 I didn't know that you live in a cabin, I always think of cabins in the deep woods.

I have been watching the Olymic trials, DH says he only wants to see the real Olympics, which I will also be watching. He won't watch as I do, I will stay glued to the tv.

My precious @mousiegirl, I live in a house, it was built very economicaly in 1959. It's small but previous owners built on to it but I wish that they had left it just as it was. I love things of yesteryear and would choose an old house with all of it's charm than a new one. I used 'cabin' as just a figure of speech.

I'm with you on watching the Olympics. We can share notes. Love you!
