We are remodeling our deck..well, we are trying to.  Rain is ruining our plans and stretching this project out.

May is almost here....hoping for May flowers and clear sky's from all the April rain.

Rain has been ridiculous in my area as well...it has been gloomy and rainy for weeks - our lawn has only been mowed 1 time this season.

Send it to Arizona. Would love several days of rain. Sunshine for weeks on end gets old.

We could also use some of the rain in VA, it's very dry here and we are in drought conditions. This time last year it was raining almost every weekend but so far very little.

We also need lots more rain here in SE Pennsylvania. Had great snow this winter, but April has been a disappointment. Whenever rain is predicted, we get a few tenths of an inch. We were thankful for the 3/4 inch this weekend, however.

@Carmie : seems like it never fails to rain when you need something done.  CA here, and we have had rain off and on for weeks. First it was hot, then overcast and cold, then rain.  It rained for almost 4 days in a row last week we are seeing  a warm day and blue skies today.  But possible showers next week.  Possible, is the word here

@Meowingkitty. We've had a couple of brief periods of mist, and 3" of snow in December, but the last real rain with raindrops I can remember was last June.   It's horrible with little snow pack in the mountains.  The Rio Grande in Albuquerque is more islands than pools of water.  It'll soon be completely dry.

They're saying we have a good chance of some rain and mountain snow on Friday.  Maybe you'll get some too.  Fingers crossed and hoping.

My state broke records for rainfall in April. We had been in drought status for nearly 18 months but no more.

We had a nice day so I got to mow my prairie (aka yard) this week. I love mowing. It's my favorite thing to do in the spring and summer.

We in SC have been in a severe drought, finally getting a little yesterday. This is our growing season so I'm hoping our farmers are getting enough to keep them afloat.
