Haha! My county in PA just went into our final phase which is the green phase. That means that salons, malls, restaurants, casinos, gyms will open next Friday. That doesn't mean we are going back to where we were. Very limited restrictions. Every place of business will determine how they will open. One family type restaurant will have you go in and put your name in. Then sit in your car and they will come and get you when there is a table. I am glad that we are opening safely. None of us whats to go back to square 1. Thank you for the cute picture.

@Tricolor  I don't understand. If phase 3 is the final phase, does that mean people will live with the "very limited restrictions" permanently?

L.A. County just gave the green light to hair salons and barbershops (not nail salons yet). So this morning I received a text from my salon with the procedures they are taking.

I will wait at least a month if not more before going in. I'm not a very good canary. :-)

I'm waiting a bit longer myself.  My salon isn't really open to take appointments yet either.  I just want to get the appointment cause I know my stylist will be booked up immediately.

@Snoopp   I'm in no rush for a haircut. Their green light and my feeling of safety are separate issues. Looked in the window the other day (did a drive by) & some clients were not masked, so restrictions not enforced.

@Hoovermom

Seemed like that ended over a week ago. Now phases mean nothing!

@Shanus  oh that’s awful, no masks.  I really hope my salon has a lot of restrictions in place otherwise I might have long hair all summer.

@Snoopp   Oh, my salon sent out long emails w/ all the restrictions, sanitation changes they've implemented, no blow drying, etc. and masks mandatory...stylists and customers. They just were not enforcing it.

@Shanus - when is your Phase 3? I saw your numbers today (NC numbers come in with our news) and boy did your state have a spike.

SC is steadily going up every day as well.

If everyone would just do their part to slow the spread, then all activites could resume with minimal risks. But for what ever reasons, many, many do not wear masks or keep distances, do not self quarantine when ill.

My 65 yo friend refuses to wear a mask. She has a chronic cough.

She was so upset when people in the grocery "gave her a dirty look" when she coughed. She said to them "I smoke. That is why I cough. I don't have covid."

So we could be in phase x, y or z and if people refuse to be personally responsible, I guess we are at the mercy of the virus.

@riley1   No word when Phase 3 is in affect. Some places that opened in Phase 2 are now closed. Hoping the spike now and future cases not due to unmasked protesters.
