ive read Gloriajean's thread was closed since its religious. As many others have said, there is nothing  in the standards that says we can't post about faith.

since you are removing threads that are deemed religious, you need to remove Kristne's blogs about the blessing of her adopted son, Dan Wheelers'  blogs about his late wife Cakes and their strong faith, especially the emotional entry about her going Home to God; Jennifer Coffeys Mantras, Samdra Bennet's blog about being Married by Dan Hughes (since he's dressed as a man of the cloth) and there are probably many more blogs if I wanted to keep digging.

This is is not meant to be argumentative. I just want you to consider another perspective. I read those blogs and was especially moved by Dan Wheelers journey with his wife. I still read Lisa Mason's Facebook posts about their faith and how it's important to them.  It's also important to the people who post here as well. They were a nice safe place for people to post as are many threads on this forum. But people asking for prayers and sharing positive messages is needed. It is a part of us who want to be there for people and lift them up instead of tearing them down.

You created a home for Gamers; maybe you can create a place for people of faith?

Well, there isn't just one "faith'.  Is Qvc supposed to create multiple boards for the various "faiths"?  Should there also be a board for atheists?  I think Qvc was tolerant for a quite a while but as often happens in situations like this,  the sermonizing got out hand and led to complaints.  The web is big place, I'm sure there are many places where you can freely share you faith with others who are looking for something like that.  As for the blogs you mentioned, there's no comparison.  You know that.

In what way did it get out of hand?  How would people know what was in the thread; if they didn't want it here, they had no need to open the thread.  I don't open threads that are of no interest to me.

I don't think there would be any objections to other faiths on threads.  People can read if they choose to do so.  I don't see a problem.

QVC has spoken.  Nothing religious to be posted here.  A few vocal protesters finally got their way.  Yes, quite a victory for those who resent any reference to any religion, actually any reference to God at all.  Quite a bit of intolerance for one woman's efforts to provide peace and comfort for believers.  She was not trying to convert anyone, and those accusations are extremely offensive.

So in its efforts to purge anything relating to religion, QVC is going to still allow prayer requests and answers to prayer requests?  Am I alone in thinking this doesn't make sense?  Who do people pray to?  It is God.  So no religious content, but prayer requests still allowed for "comfort"?  Don't get me wrong.  I am glad prayer requests are still allowed.  But before too long, there will likely be more protests over prayer requests, and they will also be gone.

I am sure this decision was carefully thought out.  Yes, one woman's daily devotional was such a violation.  For anyone who says her topic was such out of place in a shopping channel, one might have a few questions.  What does this shopping channel sell?  Religious items of all sorts - Bibles, religious jewelry, including "My Saint, My Hero," Angel figures, a Christmas focus that begins in July, Easter items, and on and on.  Hosts who speak openly on air time about their faith.

I am sure all this emphasis on faith on QVC air time drives some intolerant people crazy.  I am sure they have protested.  but, I'm the end, air time, religious items, and hosts speaking of faith will remain.  Know why?  It's connected with money.  Just some of that vile stuff with "In God We Trust" printed on it.
