Re: Question About Paying Return Postage

USPS but using the pre-paid label is usually the cheapest choice.

@patticakes

I totally agree with @Kachina624

Typically USPS is less BUT the label is cheapest the majority of the time.

I returned a bra...light as a feather!  Cost me $9.10 and the label was only $6.95!!

The label is already fully insured.

PLUS you do not have to go to the PO or UPS store.

Go to usps.com and schedule a free pickup at your house.  You will get an email confirmation when they pick it up, so you get proof.

Re: Question About Paying Return Postage

If I am sending a large package to my niece, I will use UPS because the package gets there the very next day not several days later.  Less chance for the package to be damaged too.

They are open later and go beyond measuring the package and adding postage.

Then there is the AARP discount at UPS.

Re: Question About Paying Return Postage

I don't use Q's return labels. For pennies more, I can print USPS priority mail postage online and give the envelope to my mail carrier.  You'd be amazed at what I can fit in a flat rate priority mail envelope!  Plus I can set up USPS to receive updates as packages move from place to place.

Q's labels go by pony express. They are parcel post, the slowest and lowest level at USPS and most retailers rely on 3rd parties to move them from place to place. I use them only if it's a bulky item, like a shoe box. That said, I rarely buy from Q since I can find shoes and 99% of other products Q offers at other retailers for lower prices and free shipping/returns.
