My late husband insisted on King size. It took up more space than I liked in the bedroom, but it worked well when he was alive.

But, a few years after he passed, I decided having such a large bed for one person was no fun. And, I don't have any pets sleeping with me. My big decision was between a Queen or Full size. I ended up with the Queen and am very happy with it. If I move to a small, senior apartment at some point, I will probably go down to a Full size. But, Queen is fine for now.

We slept in a queen beds for most of our married life. A few years ago, or so, we decided to get a king. LOVE it! One or both of the cats join us at some point(s) during the night. The only reason either of us would ever downsize would be when one of us will eventually have to sleep alone, but I don't even want to think about that.

I have Queen beds in all 3 bedrooms.

Hubby, doggie and I sleep in a king. If I was alone, I'd consider a queen, but only if I was alone.

I like having space.
