@Meowingkitty Sounds silly, but I usually unplugg everything but tv,and turn heat way down.Of course that is how I broke my wrist bc I got tangled in blankets!Let that teach me a lesson

HAVE A GREAT WORKWEEK Q BUDDIES

We can turn the heat down in the winter but in summer the a/c has gotta be going constantly. With temps over 100 for months on end that is one area I will not scrimp on.

Agree with all those posters that say use your CC. Rewards of points or cash back is a great savings. I’ve used coupons and shopped sales at the grocery store for as long as I can remember. Love shopping at Costco and BJ’s . Bulk buying is a money saver. We have a Food Saver, divide meats into serving sizes, vacuum and pop them in the freezer. We cook and bake the majority of the time from scratch. Like to do it and like that we know what is in our meals. We Don't go to fast food or chain restaurants. Way to much Processed foods.

ETA- We are also DIY'ers when it comes to some projects around our house . We have painted interiors and exteriors. Replaced backsplash tiles, replaced flooring, replaced sinks replaced outdoor stairs. Even helped my husband replace the garage tile roof. (just one story so not to high up a ladder). Just some of the projects we have accomplished around the house. DIY saved us a huge amount of money.

We leave electrical and major plumbing work to the professionals.

My husband also does a lot of work on our cars. From oii/fluid changes. Brake replacements, belt changes, etc.  Again major work goes to a professional.
