Yeah I know it's early, but I figure if I'm going to go through all the work of putting it up I want to enjoy it. No kids to worry about but the cats love it. They've already had a nap under it.

Good for you! I have everything decorated and putting up the tree this weekend.  I love decorating early so I can enjoy it especially with all the work that is involved. Happy holidays!

@Meowingkitty  That's a great idea! Thanksgiving is late this year and Christmas will be here before we know it. Thanks for the reminder to put that near the top of my Christmas task schedule. 🎄 🎄 🎄

Re: Put up my Christmas Tree

We just got back from shopping at Whole Foods. And they had live Christmas trees in the front of the store.

Now is a great time to buy a live tree. You have a good selection AND you can keep the tree in a bucket of water and keep it hydrated.

It seemed whenever we bought a live tree so many needles were falling off just getting the tree in the door.

So you and the cats enjoy the tree. And one more thing off your "to do" list. Good work.

Re: Put up my Christmas Tree

Mine is going up this weekend, too. It's a lot of work, if unable to enjoy it for a bit of extended time.

Heck, I love my tree so much that I'd keep it up year around except someone might call for me to have a wellness check, LOL.

Re: Put up my Christmas Tree

@Meowingkitty, I have mine up and all my decor out. I put to much stuff up and I also wanna enjoy mine after hours of putting it out. And I figure a person can decorate as early as they want to in their own home. LOL..

Re: Put up my Christmas Tree

Good for all  you organized Women.🎄 Yay ! Do enjoy your decorations. I think the time is right. Love the pictures.

I am doing less this year as bending down and up and down stairs are difficult.  I suspect I will be in line waiting for hip surgery. Have to go through the medical channels first. I like to switch things out every season, but doing less. Fighting pain is tiring, so I work in spurts.

I managed a few trips downstairs this week to bring up all the Valerie Gingerbread houses I collected. I haven't put them out for several years.  I enjoyed them .A local church  has a Recycled Christmas sale. They are collecting this coming week for next Saturday sale.
