Proofreading Matters

[ Edited ]

Spell check, or even a grammar checker, would not have noted this typo.  This was posted on a local nextdoor group, and I'm glad I wasn't drinking something when I read it, LOL.

Very, very funny.   I love threads about Spelling and Grammer!

Really, none of it really matters, if you know what someone means.

Some grammer is just grammer.

English is just never as easy as we think it is.

There is also a problem with reading comprehension.

At times, I feel like I need to write as if I'm speaking to someone with a blown out mind from being a habitual user of mind altering substances.

I'm not used to that; having to explain a simple sentence over and over again.

Granted, some do it on purpose just to get your goat.

Yes, if one is complaining/making fun of someone's words it might be a good idea to make sure YOUR words are spelled/written carefully before you do so.

How do we know the sentence isn't correct? The spirit may very well be watering the animals. I wouldn't put anything past them.
