Isn't there a heel cup that curves around the sides and back of the heel?  If there isn't there should be.

After multiple ankle surgeries for awhile I needed different sizes.    Zappos has a few shoes they sell singles of so you could combine into a pair.  Nordstrom used to at one time.  It's miserable for shoes to be uncomfirtable.
