     I'm glad you asked.  Surprised you asked, really.  heh

      I wouldnt say you were "missing something."  I'd say you "noticed something" and Thank You, & Bless You for your awareness!   --

    It's called "bookending."   It's a loving gesture oftentimes used for any Communities, families, set of loved ones, friendships, or even just a kind gesture for those of us who are merely among the "caring living."  It's used to support one another & keep us close, & in our prayers.

In this case, @mistriTsquirrel  asked for prayers for an event having a serious, caring, important, or even merely requested event in her life.  She reached out.  And, (with no judgement)  we reached back in response, provided we ourselves were in such a place as we were able to offer this. 

     Then, in the aftermath, when some time passed,  we wrapped around again,  "bookending," seeking to see how it was going. And in this case, when she could have, possibly,  @mistriTsquirrel  responded back as well.

@shoekitty  You are very, very perceptive.     Many who hadnt been introduced to this loving "bookending," might not have picked up on this. But you did!      Welcome!

@JoyFilled Warrior  ,  wasn't aware of the term at all. But I'm glad you explained it!  As I had realized @mistriTsquirrel  has been gone.  So funny, I had been gone for quite a while, couple years.  When I came back, I have noticed several posters not here.  Sometimes  I am afraid to ask posters whereabouts as I was chewed out once when I did....because the poster had passed away. Like I should have known. But I didn't know, so now I don't ask    But do it sneakily. lol.
