The sincere complaints had nothing to do with her weight or looks. I remember that time. She continually talked over people and interrupted. I agreed but didn’t say anything—until one time. We were leaving for the weekend and I very much wanted to know about Dr. Denese Today’s Special. Back then it was recording with VCRs so I set it. We got home early enough for me to watch the recording. She talked and talked and didn’t let Dr. Denese talk, and then the segment was finished. I was beyond frustrated and upset and couldn’t understand how she got away with that.
I don’t care how pretty someone is. I wanted her to do her job right. Many were complaining about that, as was I.

I remember her with the Black Hills Gold representative.  He made me laugh with some of the looks he would give her because she wouldn't stop talking.

@lgfan Then there was the shoe rep, Steve (was it Clark's?) that she used to flirt with. lol

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

@amyb I agree with you 100%.  Lisa R got all the attention and there were other pretty young hosts.  I always liked Patti as well and thought she was a great host.  It happens in every day life even in our workforce.  Some employees are kiss xxxxx to the boss and know how to get ahead. Not knocking Lisa but favoritism and getting to know the big shots play a big role.  Others don't get the recognition and are pushed aside.

Glad to see Patti is doing so well.
