How nice of you to think of me! ❤️

I am still struggling ... But yesterday I started eating everything in site! Like NOTHING would satisfy me! I believe this was total stress eating.

Still cigarette free...day 29. I just get so discouraged that the insane cravings are STILL with me and will be. I must not give in.

Hang in there with me!

@Mustang Shar

It's a hard road to beat an addiction which your body is craving.  Your success is one day / one hour at a time.  If you find yourself substituting food, make sure you really increase your walking / exercising ( try the Leslie Sansone Walk At Home DVD's.  You will feel better immediately.

DH stopped cold turkey in 1980 while I was in the hospital. As for cravings, it is fairly negligible.  However, he says that if he is on a plane about to crash....he will find a cigarette !!!

I don't have facebook...but, I do know about the struggle with quitting.  It's hard!  I gained a lot of weight when I quit at the end of April, 2014.  By the end of the yr., I gained 30 #s😳

Lots of stress eating, (anxiety) and just replacing smoking with food.  I'm sure most people gain weight after quitting.  The weight came off gradually, as I made an effort to curb my appetite for bread, pasta, and all things sweet.  Continued success...you can do it!  You are doing it! 🙆

It absolutely is one day at a time but you can do this! Tell yourself how done you are with this!!  Btw, I have gained 10 pounds....ugh!  But I will work on that!  I'm so proud of you!  Keep me posted. I'm so happy to call us quitters!  It's been 111 days for me.  In cigs, it about 1600 that I have NOT smoked!
