@KingstonsMom - Been thinking about you with this storm approaching. Are you staying in place or are you leaving?

 

Our shutters went up yesterday and I believe we will be staying. I know it will be quite windy/rainy but we do have all the supplies in for the storm.

 

Please take care and hang onto Kingston, lol.

Even though we're on the islands, we're staying too.

 

We're ready to board up when we need to and have all necessary supplies, as well as a generator.

 

You and yours stay safe too!

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@KingstonsMom - How did you make out? We were fine, no flooding or damage. Had less to clean up than with Matthew three years ago.

 

By Thursday night the wind was really blowing and gusting.

We fared really well too, here on the islands!

 

I agree, we had much more limbs, trees down and power outages for a week with Matthew.

 

So thankful we were spared, but feel so sorry for all of those who weren't as lucky.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
