I guess you can call me nosy, but why would he be sleeping in the family room?  If its none of my business thats ok.

It just sounds to me like sleeping in a guest bedroom would be a whole lot easier?

@Imaoldhippie  Obviously, they don't have a quest bedroom. Why would you ask such a question??

@BirkiLady ............I stated if it was not my business that would be ok.   Dont worry over a harmless question.

Obviously, she doesn't have a guest room.  Most people don't.

Re: Overnight Guest Question

Heck no. Put the fresh linens/blanket/pillow on the couch at the end of the first day. He's a big boy and can fix the couch like he wants.

Not everyone has a large home with a guest room.

Why didn't you stop there? Think about it . . . and hit DELETE???? None of us would have known what we do now.

Re: Overnight Guest Question

I got an inflatable bed for my daughter instead of her sleeping on the sofa.

Inflates and deflates and she said it was more comfortable...

Re: Overnight Guest Question

I would do all those things.

However, I would hope after the first night, the BIL would take the initiative to fold up the sheets and blankets in the morning and make the bed himself each night.  That's what I would do if I were staying with someone and sleeping on their sofa.

Re: Overnight Guest Question

This seems an imposition to me. When there isn't a guest room, a considerate person gets a hotel.
