I guess I'm in the old fashion group because I don't think  the tight fitting dresses with both belly and butt bulge showing looks good.  It's ok to show you are pregnant but to have the dress so tight that your stomach is this huge ball and then it's so tight that your bum is a huge ball in the back just looks bad to me. Just sayin

@Goodie2shoes  -  I don't like the skin tight clothing on a prego woman, but I'm so not old fashioned.   I also do not want to see a woman pulling out her breast in public and feeding a baby.

Why can't we have a discussion without being called judgemental or saying to turn off the tv?

This is just a discussion.

@ILOVEDOGS@Pook@patbz

I agree, that is what we see on a Boston news show. The two meteorologists are tall and thin and have nice figures.

But, their super tight dresses are so tight and clingy that the fabric all creases from their waists to their knees. Obviously the dresses are a size or two, too small.

There was a time not too long ago, when women dressed professionally on the news and weather. These young ladies dress like they are going clubbing.

All the men dress professionally. Would they be allow to appear in jeggings and tight shirts, with no jackets?

If this is the lady below the OP is talking about, I do not think this is too tight  .  In this picture, she looks fine.   I will say that I did not like the outfits Rhianna wore while she was pregnant.

Is that who we are talking about?
That is not skin tight. 😂

🤷🏻‍♀️

And when you're that far along how does it not show unless you're in a big mumu?

Pregnant women today do not wear maternity clothes. Baby bumps are not hidden like the old days. This has been the way for many years now weather you are a meteorologist on tv or anyone else,

Re: Opinions about how a woman weather person dresses

There is a woman on channel 7 San Francisco.  She is not PG. She dresses so very nice.  Has very nice looking clothes.  Not short dresses, not tight.

Almost never the same outfit.  Her hair is nice and her shoes match something or color thats in her outfil.  Her first name is Sandy.

The one that takes her place when she is off, wears a short dress, but not tight.  The problem with her is her clotthes are short and she has the worst looking knees.  I noticed when she is on, she is  nowbehind a desk.

The women on channel 7 San Francisco dress very nice and appropreate.

On our local TV station..she is expecting and wears knit dresses that emphasis her abdomen. It is a look I do not care for. Am I just old fashioned? What do you all think?.

I don't like it.   Some will say that pregnancy is natural ... blah blah blah.

Well, so is the "natural" butttt crack when the plumber bends over, but that doesan't mean we have to be subjected to it!   Ugh.

I have seen some very pregnant women wearing practically nothing .... I just wish they would have a little dignity.   JMO.

Re: Opinions about how a woman weather person dresses

Being pregnant certainly is something to be proud of!  However, I don't think it looks particularly great when a woman wears exceptionally tight and knit things and even leave part of the stomach exposed on purpose.  I understand that many don't have the money to spend on a new wardrobe, etc. but some wear exceptionally tight things on purpose I think, to accentuate their stomach.  I mean - whatever  -- as I say for other fashion hits or misses - I wouldn't do it, but it's up to everyone else what they want to wear or feel comfortable wearing.

Yes, you are old fashioned. Look around when you're out. It's just how a LOT of pregnant women dress.

I'm probably a lot older than you and it doesn't bother me at all.

There is no need to hide baby bumps under huge baggy clothing like women wore back when I was expecting.

Really, it's none of our business how she dresses. Whether or not someone likes it doesn't matter.

A little tolerance would go a long way.
