The pictures are so frightening! It is hard to imagine being in this. It makes me realize how fortunate not to live in a place that has this. I just can't imagine the horror. This or earthquakes or hurricanes, forest fires.

I have lived through all but  forest fires but never this kind of devastation.

Im in central Illinois and the storms hit us the night before.  As much as they were severe, it is March and it is the season. We must always be prepared and take them seriously. Take shelter, have supplies, and keep safe.

@goldensrbest ...............No pictures of the subdivision where our trailer is, but some pictures are of the surrounding areas.  However, we did hear that the pizza restaurant very close to us was not damaged and they are feeding people and workers.  The whole area is closed they are not letting anyone but rescue workers and medical people in the area.

I am SO very sorry for you❤, and the many victims that are enduring this!😔 My heart aches when I see the devastation, and can only imagine what it must be like for you and others awaiting information.💔 I am hoping that your property is still standing.🤞🤞 At times like this we feel helpless, and I just wish there was something I could do to help!😐

We definitely see tornados in SC and I have watched one go by very close to where I am.  They are unbelievably powerful and are one of my biggest fears.
