She actually won the Nobel Peace Prize and the Pulitzer Prize. She also won the Mother Theresa Humanitarian Award. She is quite the accomplished individual.

She is also kind to children and animals.

I think this poster has her 'Martha's' mixed up. Sounds like she is posting about Martha Stewart, not the old lady Martha in the commercial.

@proudlyfromNJ that's what I thought and I was wondering why so many people dislike Martha Stewart. I asked the question if it was the lady with the big red glasses but didn't get an answer. I haven't seen one with Martha Stewart and don't know the name od the lady some are talking about.

Are you referring to the one with the two ladies talking to the rep and wanting to get the best plan for their money? That one is just as irritating as the "Martha " one. When she does that raspy laugh at the end I just cringe.

So the elderly (?) lady on the Medicare commercial won a Nobel Peace Prize and an Emmy and got the Mother of Theresa award?

She is good as an actress playing a grumpy old lady. I'm thinking that's what they were going for with that commercial.

I honestly thought posters were mixing her up with Martha Stewart, but I know MS didn't win any of those awards.

And I don't think her track record with her menagerie of pets is notable after her 4 dogs mauled her poor cat to death.

And then her 6 beautiful peacocks were killed by coyotes because they weren't protected properly. She asked on social media if there was any solution to 6 aggressive coyotes who "have expensive tastes when it comes to poultry".

No, not good with pets/animals. Sorry. Not sorry.

Not sure what you mean. Of course, "Martha" is an actress playing a part for money. If I "hate" anything, it's the concept that older people are generally stupid.
